Pedagog Jurnal Ilmiah

  1. Duties of Authors

1.1 Reporting Standards

Authors must submit original manuscripts that have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere. Research data must be presented accurately, and all sources—published or unpublished—must be properly cited.

1.2 Originality and Plagiarism

Manuscripts must be the authors' original work. If others' work or words are used, proper citation is mandatory. Plagiarism in any form is unethical and unacceptable.

1.3 Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authors should not publish the same research in more than one journal. Concurrent submissions to multiple journals are strictly prohibited.

1.4 Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the research. All co-authors must approve the final manuscript and consent to its submission.

1.5 Data Access and Retention

Authors may be asked to provide raw data during the review process and must be willing to retain data for a reasonable period after publication.

1.6 Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

All financial or other potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed. Any financial support received for the research must also be acknowledged.

1.7 Fundamental Errors

If authors discover a significant error in their published work, they must promptly notify the journal editor and cooperate in correcting or retracting the article.

  1. Duties of Editors

2.1 Publication Decisions

Editors are responsible for deciding which submissions to publish. Decisions should be based on the manuscript’s importance, originality, clarity, and relevance, without regard to the authors' background.

2.2 Fair Play

Manuscripts are evaluated solely on scholarly merit without discrimination based on personal characteristics or beliefs.

2.3 Confidentiality

Editors must maintain confidentiality about submitted manuscripts and disclose information only to those involved in the review and publication process.

2.4 Conflicts of Interest

Editors must not use unpublished information from submitted manuscripts in their own work without the authors’ consent.

  1. Duties of Reviewers

3.1 Contribution to Editorial Decisions

Reviewers assist editors in decision-making and authors in improving manuscripts through constructive feedback.

3.2 Promptness

Reviewers who are unqualified or unable to review promptly must inform the editor and withdraw from the process.

3.3 Confidentiality

Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents.

3.4 Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted objectively and supported by clear arguments. Personal criticism is not acceptable.

3.5 Acknowledgment of Sources

Reviewers should point out uncited sources and any substantial similarities with other works they are aware of.

3.6 Conflicts of Interest

Reviewers must not review manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist due to relationships with authors or institutions.
