Christian education in the school context exists with the specific aim of introducing Christ as the Savior of the world, the source of truth, the source of wisdom and knowledge. To achieve this goal requires the presence of Christian care and education agents who carry out their roles in accordance with Biblical principles, namely family (parents), teachers (school) and church. These three institutions form an educational tripod that stands firmly on the basis of the word of God and the flame of the Holy Spirit. These three institutions need to build collaboration to equalize educational perceptions and practices and strengthen each other's roles. At Yahukimo Christian School (SKY) Dekai, this collaboration has not gone completely well. It is still found that there are teachers and parents who have educational perspectives and practices that are different from Biblical principles. Therefore, Community Service activities in the form of parenting seminars are important to hold. This parenting seminar aims to increase the awareness of parents and teachers in carrying out the educational mandate that God has ordained. Apart from that, teachers and parents are also equipped with practical matters in educating the children whom God has entrusted. This Parenting Seminar was carried out well on Friday, September 27 2024 in the OKMC Dekai Hall. This seminar was attended by 141 participants consisting of teachers, parents of students from kindergarten to high school. Based on the evaluation results, it can be concluded that parents and teachers are aware of their role as agents of Christian care and education. They are also able to formulate things that need to be done in carrying out this role. Thus it can be concluded that the aim of implementing this parenting seminar has been achieved.
