PENGUATAN PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN (PAK) DENGAN METODE BERCERITA MENGGUNAKAN BONEKA TANGAN BAGI ANAK-ANAK SEKOLAH MINGGU DI DESA KWIGILUK DISTRIK MOLAGALOME, JAYAWIJAYA, PAPUA PEGUNUNGAN

Abstract

This Community Service  was carried out as an effort to overcome one of the problems experienced by partners, namely the weak understanding of the basic Christian faith of Sunday School-aged children. This  Community Service  is implemented in the form of strengthening Christian Education learning with the following two objectives: (1) Children are able to tell the reason why Jesus came into the world; (2) Children can mention an attitude of gratitude that can be carried out personally as a response to the presence of Jesus who is the most beautiful gift for humans. This Community Service was carried out well on Saturday, December 10 2022 starting at 10 p.m. 09.00 to 12.00 WIT at SD Tanah Merah. There were 51 children attending, ranging in age from pre-school to 6th grade. Story Telling with hand puppets is the method chosen to discuss learning with the theme "The Most Beautiful Gift." The implementation of the activities went well according to the originally planned schedule. Based on the evaluation carried out in the form of group discussions, it can be concluded that the objectives have been achieved.
